- Overview
-
This practical process safety training course bridges the gap between theory and practice, focussing on the outcomes we all desire and deserve.
It is not just another session about the Baker Report, the Cullen Report, Montara or Macondo (Deepwater Horizon). Neither does this course confuse slips, trips and falls with process safety. Inherent safety, safety integrity levels, HAZOP, bow ties, LOPA, and quantitative risk assessment will all be covered but not in a conventional fashion; everybody needs to understand process safety, not just engineers.
The conclusions from major incident reports are often the same, we fail to manage process safety proactively, so if we know the answer why do major incidents continue to occur? The answer is simple; you can’t be proactive if your culture is reactive.

Upon successful completion of this course, a nationally recognised Statement of Attendance.

All participants are required to wear the following minimum PPE to enter our facilities:
- Fully enclosed shoes (steel-capped boots preferred)
- Long-sleeve shirt with high visibility
- Long work pants
Additional PPE may be required depending on the course requirements.
