This Flange Integrity Level 2 non-accredited course includes the theoretical and practical components to meet the skills and knowledge required to make and break flanged joints with manual bolt-up methods, and then proceed to the next level of using hydraulic torquing tools.
Participants will gain the following skills and knowledge:
- Planning and preparing for the work
- Break flange in accordance with the flange management procedure
- Inspection of flange and components
- Make flange joint in accordance with the flange management procedure
- Finish the job
Course facilitation is conducted at Site Skills Training facilities. Upon arrangement, course facilitation can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there are suitable industry training facilities.

This course is suitable for all personnel involved in maintenance activities using flanges and gaskets.
A basic to moderate English language, computer literacy and numeracy skill level is required.
All participants are required to wear the following minimum PPE to enter our facilities:
- Fully enclosed shoes (steel-capped boots preferred)
- Long-sleeve shirt with high visibility
- Long work pants
Additional PPE may be required depending on the course requirements.
Upon successful completion of this course, a Certificate of Attendance will be issued.
