If you are aged 17-24 or looking for work, you may be able to study a free or low-fee course through JobTrainer. JobTrainer will fund around 320,000 additional training places that can help you learn skills for jobs in demand. SKILLS CHECKPOINT FOR OLDER WORKERS

Funded Site Skill Training by Skills Check Point & Training Incentive

The Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Program (the Skills Checkpoint Program) provides advice and guidance to change careers. If you’re aged between 45 and 70 years, you may be eligible for funding assistance of up to $2,200 (GST inclusive) to fund suitable training (accredited or non-accredited). The government contribution must be matched by either the participant or their employer.

CTF- Funded Training provided by Site Skills Training

The Construction industry is the largest industry in WA employing tens of thousands of skilled workers in over 130 different occupations across civil, commercial and residential sectors. The Construction Training Fund (CTF) is 100% industry funded through the collection of the BCITF levy which applies to all construction projects in WA.

SKILLS ASSURE HIGHER-LEVEL SKILLS PROGRAM

Skills Assure Funded Training

If you’re a Queenslander with an unrestricted Electrical Licence, you may be eligible to receive Government Funding assistance to complete your UEE40420** – Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation. Under the Skills Assure Higher Level Skills Program, eligible students pay only $1200 non-concession ($950 concession) for their full Certificate IV qualification.
